Marriage License
Couple can apply for their marriage in person at a Florida courthouse or by mail from the courthouse in Titusville, Brevard County, FL. Please note the difference in these similar sounding County names - Fort Lauderdale is in Broward County and Titusville is in Brevard County. There is no extra fee to apply by mail form Brevard County. A license by mail is the same $86.00 as applications made in person at a courthouse.

You may obtain your Florida marriage license in person at any Florida county courthouse that provides that service. In Broward County a marriage license may be obtained in person only at the following locations mention below. When applying for a marriage license, both parties, age 18 and over, must be present.
State of Florida residents have the option of attending a premarital course from a registered provider, or waiting a 3 day mandatory time period before the marriage license becomes effective. An premarital courses

Non-Florida residents are exempt from any marriage license waiting period.
To expedite the application process, please fill our online pre-applications
https://www.browardclerk.org/Divisions/Marriage#OnlinePreApplication, print it and bring it with you to one of the Broward county offices for the application process to be completed.
This online pre-application does not provide any appointment time or give any appointment time or give couples any priority when they arrive at the courthouse. The online pre-application is optional and the same information can just be filled out in person when couples go for the license.
